The City of Austin regulates taxicab rates. These rates apply to all taxicab companies and all drivers. The current meter rate is $2.65 for the first 1/5 mile plus $0.46 for each additional 1/5 mile. Waiting time is $27.00 per hour. Note drivers are independent contractors and are not directly employed.

ABOUT US

We have a well established company that started back in 1982 and has been growing ever since!

By city ordinance, there is a minimum price for trips that orginate from Austin Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA).  It is set at the value of a 4 mile trip (currently $12.85).  Also per city ordinance, trips which originate at the airport are subject to a $1 surcharge.
